1. Is your electronics brand new? A: Yes, we only supply brand new products sourced from original manufacturer such as Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and etc.
2. Is there any warranty on the products? A: All products comes with 1 year limited warranty, please refer to our warranty for more details
3. What does my mobile phone / digital camera / camcorder comes with? A: The mobile phones and cameras we ship come with original outer box, standard travel charger, user manual as what you get from any retail shop. Certain models also come with memory card or data cable. In short, we supply the standard package as supplied by the manufacturer. You can add additional products to your cart to accessorize your phone or camera found in the accessories category. eg. Blue tooth headsets.
4. Does your products prices include GST or VAT Tax? A: All our prices quoted in Porta Gadgets are prices without GST. As products are shipped to you directly by postal service (Fedex and EMS) from overseas.

UK buyers will have to pay taxes for internet orders or postal order of more then GBP18.00 in value. Please read on at Custom UK

5. Do you have a store front to buy direct ? A: No, we only sell online via our web store.
6. Where does your product coming from? A: Porta Gadgets is able to sell products cheaper then other competitors due to the fact that we are located in Asia’s Duty Free Zone. All our products are shipped out from Malaysia or Hong Kong direct to customers.
Mobile Phone FAQ
1. Which mobile phones work in the AU, NZ, US, UK or Europe? A: As our mobile phones are sourced in Asia, most phones are compatible for Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe market. However, as the mobile phone technology has advanced significantly since inception, those with Tri-band & Quad-band network shall work in the US, look for the technical specification in each phone model and you shall find those phones with Tri-band & Quad-band network. 3G mobile phones will work on all networks that runs 3G.
2. What is SIM Free / Unlocked? A: SIM Free means you get the phone without the line (or the GSM chip / SIM, that goes with it). It also means that the phone is not locked to any particular network. You need to check the frequency of your network is available on the phone you want to buy.
3. Why I am unable to do video calls, MMS or download e-mails with my Mobile Phone? A: When you buy a 3G Mobile Phone, it does not mean that you can enjoy all the benefits and features of the mobile phone right away. Your network needs to be 3G ready and you need to subscript to their 3G service accordingly.
If you have technical difficulty on your mobile phones regarding connectivity issues, please consult your local network operator. Your phone is not faulty or warrant a warranty claim.
3. Why my phones has foreign language other then English? A: Since your mobile phone is shipped out from Asia, it does comes along with other languages. When we shipped out the mobile phones, our staff has checked and set default that English Language on the phone.
Digital Camera FAQ
1. Is there any restriction on the usage of digital camera? A: Digital Cameras have no restriction on network and what so ever. Therefore it is usable in all countries.
1. Why there are digital camera models that I have not seen in my countries? A: Some digital Cameras models are use differently in different region but they are the same functions as your local models. For example, Canon Ixus series is the same as Canon IXY series in the US market.

1. Why there is PAL and NTSC format differences? A: When selecting a camcorder, there are different format use in different region.
