These terms and conditions ("the Terms") govern the users ("you" or "your") use of the website www.portagadgets.com ("the Website") and your relationship with Liquidfunds Pte Ltd ("we", "our" or "us"). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access nor use the Website.

Agreement

By using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Amendments

We reserve the right to: Update these Terms from time to time and any changes will be notified to you via a suitable announcement on the Website. It is your responsibility to check for such changes. The changes will apply to the use of the Website after we have given such announcement. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms you should not continue to use the Website. If you continue to use the Website after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the Website indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms; and

Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website and the material contained within (or any part) without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website or its contents.

Pricing

While we try to ensure that all details (including prices) displayed on this web site are correct and up to date, we cannot guarantee that they are. We do, however, update this web site as frequently as possible. You must ensure that, prior to placing an order, you have checked all relevant details about the products and/or services you have selected, as those may have changed since you last visited this web site.

All products and/or services displayed on this web site are subject to availability. We will advise you if a product or service is unavailable. All prices are subject to change at any time up to the time the order is shipped. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide you with the option of either cancelling the order or to continue with the order at the corrected price.

Products

All products we sell are brand new and original from the manufacturer. Kindly note that all products will be distributed directly from our oversea supplier which explained why we are able to sell the products at a much lower price compared to other online retail shops in Australia. In view of the savings arising from the stocking cost as well as other handling fees, we are able to pass on the savings to you as our customer. Therefore, we wish to inform that we do not keep any stocks at our AU sales office due to the above reason. All orders must be entered via our website only, we do not take orders via phone or email.

Ordering

The information displayed on this web site, including prices, does not constitute an offer to contract or enter into an agreement.

When you send an order by means of the On-line store for products and/or services your order shall constitute an offer for the products and/or services selected. We shall not be obliged to accept your order. If we do, your order may be accepted by us by means of an e-mail confirming the order sent to the e-mail address supplied with the order.

We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason, prior to the order being shipped. A contract or agreement for the products and/or services selected shall only be formed once our confirmation message is correctly sent to the address of your electronic mailbox on your Internet access provider's server. It is your responsibility to verify that your mailbox is in proper working order and you must assume the risk of all consequences for transmission or operational failures.

No orders shall be accepted if received from persons under the age of 18.

Payment

We accept payment by way of wire transfer, direct deposit, moneybookers or emocorp. Please refer to payment page for more details.

Delivery

All mobile phones are usually delivered via local express courier or fedex in view of the high value item. Our sales team will email customer with a tracking number as soon as the product is shipped. Shipping duration ranges from 3-7 days depending on the location of the customer.

In the event that Fedex or couriers return goods to us as undeliverable for any reason, additional delivery charges may apply to cover the cost of re-delivery. If orders are subsequently cancelled, any refund will have all delivery charges deducted from any refund amount given.

Customer is solely responsible for custom tax and other charges applicable to each shipment.

Return Policy

To help maintain our customer 100% satisfaction guarantee, most merchandise purchased from PortaGadgets.com may be returned for 5 days for a full refund or a replacement (no restocking fee). All product returns require a RA#, (return authorization). A RA number must be issued within 5 calendar days after the date of purchase; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it’s issued.

Return Exceptions

Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, there are some exceptions.

The following items may not be returned.
  • Apple ipods
  • Consumables, including but not limited to recordable media, film, digital memory, tapes, batteries, paper, ink, ear phones, pouch, casing.
  • Software (after opened)
  • Special order items


Refunds

Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after receipt of the returned merchandise. We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the shipping charge. A refund cannot be process if there are missing accessories.

Exchange

If you purchased a product from Portagadgets that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a full refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase.

Defective items

An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced, or returned for a full refund.

Damaged items

All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.

Return shipping

Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our store) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost.

If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

In addition to our standard return policy, customer may requests for Door to Door Pick Up service that will cost AU$30 to return the product. Shipping insurance is optional. Packaging material maybe provided upon request from the related party.

Replacement

We will send a product replacement after the authorized return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise. To receive a replacement more quickly, you may place a new order for the same item (shipping not included), and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product (including shipping), upon completion of our return process.

How to Return Merchandise

Please contact us at / for a return authorization number (RMA #). If you do not have the return form, we will provide it to you together with your RMA number. Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return.

Product Condition:
Returned merchandise must be in original condition, and include all factory packed accessories and paperwork (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, unmarked warranty card, manuals etc.), in the original manufacturer box and packaging with UPC, barcode, and serial number intact,

Incomplete returns will receive a reduced credit reflecting any missing peripherals.

Removal or alteration of a product's UPC number or serial number label will automatically void any possibility of return for credit or replacement. Products that are returned to Portagadgets.com with a missing or altered UPC or serial number will be returned to the sender.

The product serial number must match the serial number in our database (Portagadgets.com maintains serial number tracking).

Return merchandise must be double boxed with no writing on the manufacturer's box. Your Return Authorization Number must be displayed prominently on the outside of the shipping box.

Retuned merchandise that is lost or damaged during transit is solely the shipper's responsibility. It is important save the tracking information and to properly insure all merchandise being returned to Portagadgets.com


Cancellation

Customers can cancel their orders before the delivery of their order. Once the product has been shipped, the customer will bear all the cost of shipment and return. Cancellation of order is subject to return policy terms and condition.

Warranty

All products purchased from this web site are covered by a 12 month limited warranty, in relation to defective materials or workmanship from the date that they are purchased from us, under which your products may be repaired free of charge by sending the product back to us for repair. Please note that the shipping fee incurred in sending the item to us for repair is to be borne by the customer.

For products covered with international warranty, please send to your local service center for repair/replacement by presenting the warranty card to them (this warranty card will be sent together with your shipment).

For products not covered with international warranty, please send to us by Fedex or DHL or other reliable shipping company for repair. Kindly note that buyer is solely liable for any shipment lost-in-transit.

Kindly refer to warranty page for further details. Please allow up to 30 days for the product to be repaired or replaced.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about our service, please let us know in writing. All complaints will be acknowledged within five working days. We will seek to resolve all complaints within 14 days and will keep you advised as to what is happening throughout the resolution process.
